2026 Research Experiences Showcase Talk
This is a recording of the academic showcase hosted by the University of Queensland highlighting research conducted by us.
I recently completed a Bachelor of Computer Science majoring in Machine Learning and have commenced a Master of Data Science at The University of Queensland. My studies focus on advanced statistics, numerical linear algebra, and deep learning, which form the mathematical and computational foundations of modern data science and machine learning.
I am particularly interested in understanding how mathematical ideas translate into real systems. Much of my work explores how machine learning models behave internally and how theoretical insights can guide the design of better algorithms.

“I enjoy working on projects that explore how models behave internally and the mathematical ideas behind them. Trying to understand why a model works the way it does is something I find genuinely interesting, and it shapes how I approach both research and building systems.
Outside of computing, I enjoy discovering new music and going camping. Itβs nice to step away from screens every now and then and spend some time outdoors (touch some grass), especially when most of the day is spent thinking about code, maths, and experiments.
Note: This website is still a work in progress, so some sections may change as I add more projects and updates.”
